Iguanodon

Iguanodon was a big dinosaur that could stand on either two legs or four. It was a herbivore that lived in the Cretaceous period. Here is a funny story.Scientists once thought Iguanodon had a horn on its nose. The "nose horn" was actually a thumb spike! They actually put it's thumb on it's nose!!! Weird, isn't it. Thanks for reading my blog.See you later!

terror birds

For a long period of time,a group of birds called the phourusrachids, aka the "terror birds", ran around eating any animal smaller than themselves. Although they were birds, they weren't flighty. I mean that literally, beacause they were flightless! They also have a sad story behind their fierce looks. You see, they were once the biggest and most sucsessful predators on the planet! But when large mammalian carnivores appeared, they had a tough time. But although they were replaced, they continued to carry on. It was only when our species appeared, that they died out. I don't know why they died so but I can tell you this: If they still survived today, I wouldn't want to meet one.
